			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The White Room are thrilled to have been appointed by talented textile designer, Banke Kuku, to develop a tailored PR campaign to increase brand awareness amongst the interior and lifestyle press. Although Banke’s newly launched range of bespoke cushions is her first interiors collection to date, the Nigerian born textile designer’s intrepid designs may well already be in your wardrobe. As an ‘every other month’ client, simple product placement and profiling of Banke and her collection will take place to encourage media engagement. Newsworthy and informative press releases will also be produced on an alternative monthly programme to keep materials fresh and journalists interested.  As specialists in the home interest sector, The White Room monitors all of the home interest press on an ongoing basis. Each client also benefits from the strong relationships the PR division has with the press from editorial, journalists, stylists as well as freelance writers.</p>

Awarded with the title ‘Queen of Colour’ by Creative Director at Jasmine Di Milo, Banke’s first interiors range can already be found nestled in Selfridges and is set to follow in the successful footsteps of her recent fabric designs that have graced the catwalks of London, Paris and New York.</p>

<p>As part of an integrated consumer PR campaign for Topps Tiles, The White Room recently supported the launch of their latest Atelier collection by introducing this to the home interiors and lifestyle media. Developed to create a ‘buzz’ and raise awareness of the new range amongst the press, The White Room’s in-house design division created an attractive press pack that complemented the completed collection. This mailer included a sample tile from the range, an informative brochure and an introduction letter giving an insight into the collaboration with ceramic designer Rosie Simmons. Simple yet effective, the press pack was sent out to 200 key journalists and within the two weeks, the PR team was bombarded with over 30 image requests for inclusion in titles such as Homes &amp; Gardens, The Times, Ideal Home, House Beautiful and Period Homes &amp; Interiors. Supporting the branding and visual concept of the range, The White Room was involved in the entire launch process including the design of the brochure, photography and PR for the tiles.</p>

<p>Using different channels of communication is a great way to prompt additional media engagement and target those that may not usually opt to use and promote a certain brand. We understand the need to inspire journalists to see PR results and this PR activity is a prime example of how a little creativity can often go a long way. We can’t wait to see all the press coverage as it starts to come through!</p>

<p>Earlier this month specialists in bathroom design, Crosswater, had a successful show at this year’s KBB Birmingham. Using the show as a key platform to launch over 250 new products exclusively for 2012, KBB Birmingham also played host to the launch of Crosswater’s three new brochures. Designed and created by The White Room, these brochures showcase the brand’s comprehensive range of contemporary brassware, shower enclosures and bathroom furniture. Stylish and inspiring to reflect the quality of products, The White Room also developed a collection of imagery for brochure and marketing purposes.</p>

<p>During the lead up to the campaign, influential marketing materials such as invitations for retailers on behalf of Crosswater were produced, as well an email campaign to prompt retailers visiting. This consisted of four mailers that highlighted incentives to attend the show, with a different design being sent out each week before KBB Birmingham took place. Crosswater’s presence at this year’s key industry event was also supported by an informative press pack and press release to secure media interest with regards to their attendance and exciting new product ranges.</p>

Up and coming predicted colour trends for the forthcoming year were analysed, which resulted in an on-trend, restrained colour palette that reflects the consumers move away from over the top design towards a more pared-down, softer style. Working with the client to understand their products, inspirational mood boards with carefully selected wallpapers and accessories were produced and presented to the client to give an insight into the photography direction.</div>

<p>Since the British blockbuster ‘My Week with Marilyn’ hit cinema screens back in November 2011, it’s no wonder that the iconic Marilyn Monroe has been hugely popular amongst the homes and interiors media too. And as wallpaper continues to transcend with its revival, we’re thrilled that our PR client, wallpaper company Galerie, decided to create a wallpaper that consists of iconic photographic images of the Hollywood movie star, which has resulted in fantastic coverage across various interiors publications and online too.</p>
<p>With a simple yet effective PR activity that entailed the creation of an inspirational press release featuring a stylish lifestyle image, our PR division was able to successfully capture a cross section of press attention. Having featured within printed titles and online such as Real Homes, Ideal Home, Irelands Homes Interior &amp; Living, Room Envy (25 Beautiful Homes Blog) and UKTVLoveHome.co.uk with more scheduled inclusions to come, it just goes to show that inspiring photography is a must-have for PR success and maximum exposure. Combine this with the strong relationships that our PR division has with journalists from a range of print, broadcast and online titles and it’s proven that the simplest of PR activities can be just as successful.</p>

Established in China in 1982, Jasmine Silk successfully expanded in 2008 and launched their luxury range online in the UK. The White Room will support the growth of the brand within the UK market with an effective campaign set to strengthen the positioning of Jasmine Silk as a leading supplier of the finest quality silk products for the home amongst the interiors and lifestyle press. Sourced from the most prized silkworms from the Bombyx Mori Moth, the sumptuous silk is produced from 100% Grade A long-strand Mulberry Silk that results in exceptionally smooth yarns for optimum comfort.</p>
<p>To target the UK consumer, The White Room has just completed the design and room set photography. Utilising the photo studio located on the ground floor of the four-storey property, The White Room was able to provide Jasmine Silk with a cost effective solution for photographic that will play an integral part in the overall marketing campaign. Designed with a luxurious hotel-style feel, each image boasts simplicity with a neutral setting to emphasise the lustrous finish and overall USP of the product.</p>
