The White Room has just completed the creative for a new Topps Tiles media campaign. Full-page adverts have been designed to run through a selection of home interior magazines and weekend supplements.
The campaign has been shaped to promote the extensive range of tiles available, as many consumers still remain to perceive Topps Tiles as a low budget retailer with a limited range even though they offer excellent choice at great prices.
Each advertisement incorporates a selection of tile lifestyle images that reflect popular trends and styles within home interiors. These adverts have been designed to inform readers that Topps Tiles offer tiles that suit every taste and all interior schemes.

The White Room has just completed Heathfield & Co’s stunning 220-page brochure for 2011 which showcases a diverse collection of lighting solutions. Tasked to design and produce the catalogue, The White Room was also responsible for the creation of inspiring photography to suit Heathfield’s stylish product range. Designed with a high-luxe feel to reflect the collections, this brochure groups lighting solutions together including wall lights and table lamps, which allows end-users to browse through the catalogue with ease.
Recognised for supplying both contract and consumer lighting, the photography has been created to appeal to leading interior designers as well as today’s savvy customer. Influenced by luxurious hotel styles, our photography division sourced chic fabrics and wallpapers from 2010 collections to ensure each room set was on-trend and equally distinctive.
Here at The White Room, our designers and photographers are under one roof which means we work together alongside our clients to understand their product values in order to create design-led and valuable photographic images and a brochure that communicates effectively to their target market. Our own photo studio house located on the ground floor of our four-storey property allows our team to create outstanding results without restrictions.

Just 18 months ago, The White Room embarked on an effective marketing campaign for Topps Tiles that incorporated new room set photography and a successful ongoing repositioning within the market, through lifestyle and home interiors PR. Changing the perception of the brand is an ongoing process however; Topps Tiles’ reputation is constantly growing and the inclusion within World of Interiors is a true reputation of Topps Tiles’ altered image.

Interiors NEC Birmingham is the UK’s leading interiors trade exhibition. With thousands of key people visiting the show each year, this exhibition has become extremely established and has just taken place for the 26th consecutive year. The White Room was appointed to develop a marketing campaign to target all areas of the interiors trade to entice them to exhibit at the 2011show in Birmingham.
The White Room proposed a targeted email campaign that was specifically tailored to all areas of the show from flooring, lighting, beds, fabrics as well as generic focus. Each email was designed to influence and entice potential exhibitors predominately through the creation of strong graphical icons alongside factual attendance figures that represented and appealed to the target market.
To support the factual information, each email incorporated a quote from successful exhibitors or key visitors. This effectively helped to strengthen the message of how the show attracts the right people and is a great place to get your business in front of top relevant and serious buyers. A link to other areas of related interiors interest was also integrated into the email to help build knowledge of the developing show for 2011.
With the targeted market at the forefront of our design team’s minds during the email creation process, The White Room were able to supply direct and influential marketing material in a clear format which successfully attracted a substantial number companies to exhibit at the 2011 show.

Not only ruling the media by gaining an exceptional amount of coverage in leading publications, our client’s Stamp Rugs have also been dominating the screen featuring in not one, but TWO popular TV programmes just one week apart! Adorning the set of Channel 4’s Alan Carr: Chatty Man (17th January 2011), these iconic handmade rugs also featured on Gok’s Fashion Fix (25th January 2011) also on Channel 4, covering both the wall and floor of Gok’s Showroom. Not only gaining stamp of approval with an exclusive license to manufacture the rugs from Royal Mail, the collection has also proved to be a must-have for celebs too!
Through a simple yet effective PR campaign, The White Room’s main objective was to develop brand awareness by keeping the rugs at the forefront of the media’s mind on a continual basis, which has evidently resulted in exciting press opportunities across all areas of the media.
