After launching in 2007, Amode appointed The White Room to handle an ongoing national PR campaign in order to strengthen their brand presence and credentials within the home lifestyle sector. Our PR division developed a strategy to target key media, attract a wider customer base and ultimately increase sales.

Amode has benefited from a successful online presence and as a result of an effective PR and lifestyle marketing campaign, they have achieved fantastic coverage across a number of leading interiors and lifestyle titles. Consistently featuring in relevant publications that reach Amode's clientele, coverage has exceeded expectations by making repeat appearances in leading contemporary titles including Elle Decoration, Living Etc and national newspaper supplements.

Having initially launched solely as an online retailer offering quality contemporary furniture, successful coverage led to a considerable amount of requests from customers asking where they can see the furniture featured in the press before purchasing online. With the lifestyle PR objectives met, Amode wanted to gain new grounding and recently opened a retail showroom based in Hammersmith, London. Allowing Amode to expand their business to a wider market, the showroom also supports their online service.

Resembling a two-bedroom show flat, the showroom illustrates Amode's decision to divert back to basics and provide a more interactive shopping experience that supports their online offering. Meeting purchasers' needs to touch, feel and visually see a high end product before buying, the showroom gives a sense of reassurance to consumers whilst evidently illustrating Amode's successful expansion.
